We're getting there! A little further!
I was very mad when 26 came out and they had made clearing Safari history so much harder. At least double maybe triple the number of clicks required. I tend to do this many times a day just to stop tracking and privacy problems.
So I googled, and I found:

This page helped me create a shortcut to at least open the settings page so I could scroll down and in two clicks clear Safari history.
A couple of months have passed, and I checked again, and found:

This page gets me a little further, and the shortcut now scrolls down to the right button, then I do my two clicks and a third to close settings.
Still waiting on Apple to provide a hook into actually triggering the clear. But we're making progress....
